We at Advanced Vault take the security of your data very seriously

We went to great lengths to protect your data.  Following is a partial list of what we do to safeguard your data:

Strong Encryption
Advanced Vault Backup software encrypts each file using 256-bit AES encryption technology. During configuration, you will choose a string that will then be converted into a 256 bit encryption key. Only you will have this encryption key.  It will never be transmitted to us to anyone else, therfore, only you can access your backup files.  Each file that you backup is encrypted using this key and remains encrypted until you restore it and it returns to your computer. 

Replication of your data
If you choose to replicate your data to our data center or to another device, our appliance communicates with the target location using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) technology. As a result, the data transmitted is encrypted twice, when it’s transmitted to the appliance and again while it’s being sent over the Internet.

Hardened Data Center
If you choose to replicate your data to our offsite facility, know that your data is securely stored in a Military Grade data center. This is hardened Cisco based switched network with redundant Internet providers, redundant routers, and redundant firewalls. All systems operate on redundant power and backed by power generators, UPSs, and the latest fire suppression equipment.  Also, the facility is monitored and guard protected 24/7.
